During a bipartisan meeting at the White House, President Trump expressed support for a two-phase immigration approach: addressing DACA first, then tackling comprehensive reform immediately afterwards. Trump also revealed that Rep. Bob Goodlatte will be introducing a bill in the next few days. A group of Democrat and Republican lawmakers have attended the meeting on immigration reforms. Trump’s immigration demands include building a border wall, closing the enforcement loopholes, eliminating the Diversity Visa Lottery Programme and ending the chain immigration process.
