Polavaram was assured with national project status during the division by the outgoing Congress led UPA Government and it is included in the AP Reorganisation Act also. Now, there is huge criticism being drawn at the backdrop of this project, as the allied parties BJP and TDP are playing blame game against each other, with the elections approaching.
