Telangana Bharatiya Janata Party (TBJP) leader, Kishan Reddy blamed Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) government for delay in Hyderabad Metro Rail (HMR) taking off. He said that due to the realignment of the project, excluding old city, the project construction has been delayed. Also, Telangana government owes Rs. 3,000 crore to Rs. 5,000 crore still to L&T company, that constructed HMR, he said. He urged the government to realign HMR project to include old city. BJP leaders and workers are happy that HMR has been inaugurated by Prime Minister Modi, he said.
