Oxford Circus station: No evidence of shots fired, says London police
Oxford Street tube station has reopened after it was evacuated over reports of shots being fired. London police say their operation has finished. They say they have found no casualties or suspects. Oxford Circus underground station and London's major shopping district Oxford Street were evacuated and armed officers called to the scene on Friday night amid reports of gunshots. On hearing the false news, people were seen running away from the station. The Metropolitan Police said there was no evidence of an attack.
