In the Assembly, Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao said that Nizam rulers did good things for Telangana. KCR said that people are using water for drinking and irrigation purpose from Nizamsagar reservoir which was built by Nizam. The Chief Minister further said that they will bring Nizam history to light for the benefit of future generations. But, BJP MLA Kishan Reddy found fault with the remarks of Chief Minister and forging ties with MIM party. He stated that Nizam had refused to merge his Hyderabad state with independent India. Nizam had committed atrocities by allowing his private force Razakars to kill thousands of men and rape Hindu women in Telangana region, the BJP MLA recalled.
