Aus firm to invest Rs 8,000 cr in AP; AIIB to extend 2 billion US dollars assistance to 5 key projects - 10 Tv

Delegates of Australian based Woodside Energy company have met Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu in Amaravati. They have expressed interest to partner with the AP government in the construction of LNG Terminal and Regasification Unit at Kakinada by investing Rs 8,000 crore. Once the projects become operational, it will provide employment to 1,200 directly and 2,000 indirectly. Woodside Energy has 60 years of experience in an oil and natural gas sectors. In another development, on the advice of the Central government, Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) will extend financial assistance of 2 billion US dollars to five key projects taken up by AP government.
