MV Sridhar, BCCI’s general manager of cricket operations, passed away on Monday morning at the age of 51 years. He suffered a heart attack. Former Hyderabad cricketer is survived by his wife, a son and a daughter. Born in 1966 in Vijayawada, MV Sridhar has served a lot to BCCI. He was also a captain of Hyderabad Ranji Cricket Team. He is a right-handed batsman and his career spanned between 1988 and 2000. Sridhar has amassed 6701 runs. He took up various administrative roles with Indian cricket after his retirement.
