Aviation City LLP, a UAE-based company has come forward to set up an aerocity in Andhra Pradesh. It will construct aerocity with Rs 36,000 crore which will generate employment to 20,000 persons. A delegation led by Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has met representatives of Aviation City in the UAE. A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between Andhra Pradesh Economic Development Board and Aviation City LLP. The Aviation City representatives said that 10,000 acres is needed for setting up aerocity and they informed the delegation that they will take a decision soon.
