A towering 216-feet-high sitting statue of Bhakti saint Ramanuja is taking shape on the outskirts of Shamshabad, Hyderabad. According to the reports, it is World’s second-biggest sitting statue, which is being made with Rs 1000 crore budget. Around 1200 sculptures and artists are working on it daily. It is said that this big historic structure will mark the beginning of the 1000th birth anniversary celebrations of the religious guru, planned by Chinna Jeeyar Swamy and is the brainchild of him. As soon as the first phase of the construction will be completed, PM Modi will inaugurate the statue.
