Modi Govt Issues Notice To Auction Dawood Ibrahim's Properties

The government of India after checking the status of properties believed to belong to underworld don Dawood Ibrahim has issued a notice to auction the same. According to the reports, the finance ministry has issued an advertisement in this regard. Last times also, the bid was conducted for a single property located at Bhendi Bazaar in South Mumbai. This time, the government has charged to auction the Damarwala building where Iqbal Kaskar, the don's brother was staying. The charges were framed under the Smuggling and Foreign Exchange Manipulators Act of 1976, also known as SAFEMA,
