A Mega Textile Park, in an area that is bigger than than the old Azam Jahi mills, will come up soon, in Warangal. Announcing this, Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Kadiam Srihari said that the cost of the project is estimated at Rs. 1.15 crore. Warangal has always been known for abundance of cotton. The farmers here however earn little. The Textile Park would be a bonanza not just to farmers, but also to weavers, thousands of who would be employed in the park.
