With the heavy downpour and large inflows from upper regions, Srisailam project water level has touched 882 feets against to full capacity of 885 feets. The reservoir full capacity is 215 tmc while now it has 202 tmc water. Incessant rains lashed both the Telugu states. Projects in both the states have been receiving large inflows from upper regions too. Farmers have expressed happiness as the reservoirs are flooded with water which will irrigate lack of acres. Meanwhile, rain has damaged many of the roads and waterlogging is seen in Hyderabad and in major cities.
