Responding to Telangana Minister Harish Rao’s complaint letter, the Krishna River Management Board directed the AP government to stop the release of water from Pothireddypadu head regulator. In his letter, Harish Rao had alleged that telemetry fixed at Pothireddypadu tampered. The KRMB wrote a letter to the AP government to stop the release of water from Pothireddypadu from Wednesday as it had already drawn 5 tmcft water allocated to Rayalaseema. The KRMB members will inspect Pothireddypadu soon. Later, the Board will hold a meeting with officials of the both states.
