AP govt. committed to welfare of both Kapus and BCs: minister Atchan Naidu

Minister Atchan Naidu fumed at Kapu Sangham chief Mudragada Padmanabham, for creating a rift among Kapus and Backward Classes (BCs) in Andhra Pradesh (AP). Stating that the government is committed to the welfare of both Kapus and BCs, the minister revealed that the government had in fact spent Rs. 1,000 cr, each year, as per Mudragada's request. Also, it tried to gather the census of Kapus, through Manjunathan Committee. But Mudragada and co., did not cooperate, leading to stalling of the programme, he pointed out. He blamed Mudragada for the government not being able to give reservations uptil now.
