Roger Federer wins eighth Wimbledon title, makes history
Roger Federer created history as he won the Wimbledon title for the eighth time by defeating Marin Cilic in straight sets. The 19-time Grand Slam winner said that he never believed that he could win eight Wimbledon titles. On the other hand, Cilic said that a blister in his foot hampered him during the final. Federer will turn 36 in August and is the oldest man to ever win the Wimbledon trophy. After winning the Australian Open and now Wimbledon, Federer has a chance to return to world’s top rank.
