The navies of India, US and Japan began the 21st edition of maritime exercise, on the Malabar coast, in Kerala. They denied that it was anything to do with Chinese gathering of its ships in the Indian Ocean. The only message that they would like to give to all navies, through Malabar 2017, is that they are better off together, US Rear Admiral, Bryne said. Another US commander, who wanted to be anonymous, said that the exercise would have significant impact on the Chinese and it will send the message that they were together and were better standing together.
