A 2-km stretch surrounding Musi river, that was earlier notorious for it's stench, is now flourishing with lush greenery and flower gardens. Thanks to the initiative by Telangana government, Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) has beautified the area in Uppal Bhagawat area. While gardens, with fountains and flowering plants are being grown, pathways for walkers and cyclists have been created. Instead of the stinking river, you can now enjoy the sweet smell of flowers and enjoy the breeze of several medicinal trees and herbs.
