KCR reviews progress of pending irrigation projects - NTv

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao held a review meeting with officials to know the progress of pending irrigation projects. He directed the officials to complete pending projects in Palamuru district on the priority basis for providing water to 10 lakh acres by next Kharif season. The Telangana government is expecting that 140 tmcft water would be available through Medigadda and Lower-Manair dams without completion of Kaleshwaram project. The KCR government wants to repair SRSP canals for providing water to two crops in Mahabubnagar and Warangal districts.
