West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Bannerjee tweeted that no one can speak freely in the present set up. She flayed Prime Minister Modi for allegedly trying to subvert democracy. Her tweet came in the wake of Trinamool Congress (TMC) opposing National Democratic Alliance (NDA) candidate for President, Ramnath Kovind. No one can speak freely now out of fear, she said. This also comes ahead of the midnight Goods and Services Tax (GST) midnight session, tomorrow, which Mamata is boycotting. She is against killings in the name of Gau Rakshaks, she said. Meanwhile, Modi has issued strict warning to so-called Gau Rakshaks, who are killing people for that sake.
