19 girls land at Vizag railway station; RPF, childline - Tv9
Nineteen girls landed by a train, at Visakhapatnam railway station. Railway Police Forces (RPF), who observed them roaming on the platform, inquired them from they arrived. They gave vague replies. There was one 25-year-old youth with them. He said that they were going to Akiveedu in West Godavari district, for work. The police later handed them over to a child-line, which lodged them at a children's home in Visakha. Women's Organisation representatives said that there is a suspicion that the girls were lured in to illegal activities, promising money.
