Gangsters Abu Salem and Mustafa Dossa are among a group of five, who have been convicted under Arms and Ammunition Act, by Terrorist And Disruptive Activities (TADA) court, at Mumbai. Abu Salem was arrested as he was extradited from Protugal in 2005, when he was named accused in 1993 Mumbai blasts. TADA court had earlier heard the case and convicted some 100 accused in the case, in 2006. While Yakub Memon was hanged to death, actor Sunil Dutt was released. Abu Salem is said to have transported arms, to those involved in the bomb blasts, killing nearly 300 people and injuring hundreds of them.
