IT Minister Nara Lokesh will take part in Visa cashless kick off the programme in Visakhapatnam on Wednesday. The AP government has entered into an agreement with Visa company at Davos for making Vizag as the first cashless city in India. The Visa will promote cashless transactions in government and private offices and also in other activities including retail businesses. Later, Lokesh will participate in the signing of an agreement between ANSR company and APIIC at Novatel. The AP government allocated 10 acres of land to ANSR in Vizag. The film will invest Rs 1,000 crore and create 10,000 jobs in the next 10 years.
