Yogi Adityanath offers prayers in makeshift Ram Temple in Ayodhya

Yogi Adityanath visited the makeshift Ram Temple at Ayodhya, in Uttar Pradesh (UP). Earlier, he visited Hanumangadi and offered prayers. Ram Temple is at the disputed site of Babri Masjid, which was demolished by kar sevaks led by several Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders. The UP Chief Minister (CM) entered the temple amidst tight security. It took some 20 minutes for him to worship and come out of the temple. Later, he visited River Sarayu and worshipped there. Huge interest has surrounded the visit in view of the top BJP leaders facing criminal charges over Babri Masjid demolition.
