Army Rescues Baby Elephant In Assam - ABN

Forest officers rescued a baby Elephant in Assam with the help of army after 9 days of it's falling into a pond. It's been reported that a baby elephant fell into a pond accidentally at Guahati and it could not come out as one of it's legs fractured. It started shouting with pain. Then forest officers and police tried to rescue her which didn't work initially. They requested army to help them in bringing out the elephant for which they brought an elephant with the help of which they could rescue the baby elephant successfully. Army officers noticed that the elephant's left leg was fractured and started treatment. They will leave the baby elephant in forest after the completion of the treatment, say the sources.
