People woes compounded with ATMs coming under Wannacry malware attack. More than 60 per cent ATMs have closed down across the nation as bank officials are yet to upgrade software as per the new currency. Experts say it will take more time for upgradation of software in ATMs. The central government is not taking measures to ensure the working of ATMs as it wants to promote digital transactions. Business transactions have hit with non-availability of cash. The situation likely to continue for few more months.
