Chidambaram, son raided by CBI over INX, Aircel-Maxis deals - Tv9

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has raided the residences of former Union Minister P. Chidambaram and his son Karti Chidambaram in Tamil Nadu and other 16 places in Delhi, Mumbai and Haryana's Gurugram in connection with criminal misconduct in the grant of Foreign Investment Promotion Board(FIPB) approvals/clearances to INX Media. The Enforcement Directorate has been probing the involvement of Karti Chidambaram's company for alleged foreign exchange violations. BJP senior leader Subramanyam Swamy on the other hand alleged that when P. Chidambaram was the Union Finance Minister, he gave illegal clearances to his son's companies.
