IT raids in Lalu Prasad's residences; Benami land deals - V6

Income Tax (IT) officials are conducting raids in as many as 22 houses belonging to Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief Lalu Prasad Yadav, in Delhi and Gurgaon. There are charges against Lalu of making illegal, benami land dealings. Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders have charged family members of Lalu Prasad of having made benami land dealings. Union minister Ravi Shankar Prasad demanded that inquiry should be conducted in the land dealings. They were said to have been made when Lalu Prasad was Railway minister in UPA government.
