Centre has agreed to strengthen Andhra Pradesh (AP) police forces, by deploying Central Reserve Police Forces (CRPF), said AP Director General of Police (DGP) Sambasiva Rao. He attended the meeting of states chief ministers and police chiefs, with Rajnath Singh, this morning. Observing that Visakha Agency area and Vizianagaram district are still Maoist infected, he said that additional forces would be deployed as promised in the State division Act. He called for better coordination among all Maoists-affected states. Development activities would be taken up besides controlling Maoists, he said.
