'I never insulted the Mahabharata' - Kamal Haasan - Tv9

Veteran actor Kamal Haasan says he never made any insulting comments on the Mahabharata. He approached Madras HC over his attending Valayur court in Tirunelveli District over his comments. He said some people are doing false propaganda on him. Several Hindu Associations fired on Kamal for his comments belittling the Epic. Swami Pranavananda complained to police over Kamal in this regard while demanding him to apologise Hindu people. Kamal Haasan in an interview said women are not given proper place in India right from epic ages where Pandava's vowed Draupadi in gambling. Over his comments Hindu Makkal Kachi leaders fired on him while demanding govt to punish him severely for insulting Hindu dharma. Kamal Haasan said when he released Viswarupam 1 people said he was against Muslims and now they say he is against Hindus.
