Cong leader VH over Chilli farmers protest in Khammam - Studio N

Responding over Chilli farmers damaging the furniture, fans and ACs at a market yard in Khammam district, Congress leader V Hanumantha Rao came down heavily on the TRS government. He said that farmers went on the rampage as the Chilli price was slashed to Rs 2,500 per quintal. He found fault with the Collector for not visiting the market yard and speaking to the farmers. The Congress leader urged the state government to fix Rs 10,000 as a price for each quintal.
