In a chit chat with ABN Andhra Jyothi, Indian Idol Revanth, said that he was hesitant at first to go for the competition because he did not how to speak in Hindi. However, once he joined the auditions, he had the privilege of being trained by the Indian Idol team, for four months, to improve his speech and diction. He was lucky to be trained by Pandit Jasraj's grandson, Anand Sharma, he said. There were some, who encouraged him but many, who discouraged him because of language problem. But that further made him determined to go ahead, he said.
