Flying car costing $1 million unveiled at Monaco Auto Show
A Slovakian company AeroMobil unveiled on Thursday its version of a flying car, a light-framed plane whose wings can fold back, like an insect, and is boosted by a hybrid engine and rear propeller. It is priced at $1 million and the company is ready to accept pre-orders and the first delivery is expected by 2020. The flying car was unveiled in 2014 and tested in 2015. The owners will need at least a sports pilot license. The company says the car can be switched to flight mode in less than three minutes.
