The demand for Visakhapatnam Railway Zone has once again surfaced. Former minister Konathala Ramakrishna has filed a petition in the High Court stating that even after 2 years 11 months, the centre is not doing justice to Andhra Pradesh as per the clause mentioned in the AP State Re-Organisation Act. The former minister has hoped that by legal means only, the railway zone is possible. Alleging that the centre is overlooking the matter and delaying it, Konathala has asked AP MPs to put a pressure on the centre in the Parliament. On the other hand, Hyderabad High Court, which admitted the petition has adjourned the hearing of the case to the first week of June. Listen to Konathala Ramakrishna.
