Newly inducted minister and chief of Telugu Desam (TD) state unit, Kala Venkat Rao, said that he would work hard and improve the status of the people of AP. Taking charge as Power minister, a portfolio that was under the CM all this while, Kala Venkat Rao said that it is heavy responsibility but he would do justice. As far as dissent is concerned, it is common, he said. There cannot be allocation of ministries on the basis of communities as it is unconstitutional, he claimed. However, everyone would be appeased and the party would go ahead unitedly, he said.
