Four Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) legislators, including Kishan Reddy and Lakshman were suspended from Telangana State Assembly, for disruption of proceedings. The BJP moved adjournment motion against government proposal to give 12 per cent reservations to Muslims and include them in Backward Classes. Speaker Madhusudhana Chary did not allow the adjournment, leading to BJP members to mob his podium and create ruckus. Minister Harish Rao urged the Speaker to suspend the rowdy members. Consequently, they were suspended from the House for two days.
