The police took JAC Chairman Prof Kodandaram into preventive custody at his house in Tarnaka in the wee hours of Wednesday. Along with Kodandaram, the police also took 30 TJAC leaders, who were in his house. The police made preventive arrests in the wake of Kodandaram giving a call to hold unemployment rally today. Kodandaram found fault with the police for taking him into custody. The police shifted the TJAC leaders to Kanchanbagh police station and Kodandaram to Kamathipura police station. A police official said that they will be left by evening.
