Donald Trump met with CEOs of major US companies at the White House as the business community finds itself increasingly split over how to respond to his policies. His guests included IBM CEO Ginni Rometty, Pepsico’s Indra Nooyi, General Motors' Mary Barra, JPMorgan's Jamie Dimon, Tesla's Elon Musk, and Boeing's Jim McNerney. All are on Trump's business advisory panel. One absentee-Uber CEO Travis Kalanick-who quit the group under pressure from activists. Trump kicked off the meeting saying the group would discuss peeling back banking rules and promising that companies would bring new jobs to the United States.
