Washington state's Attorney General says he is suing US President Donald Trump over an executive order that suspended immigration from seven countries with majority-Muslim populations. Trump’s order had sparked nationwide protests. Speaking to the media, Attorney General Bob Ferguson said that if the court strikes an executive order then it would have the effect of invalidating the president's unlawful action nationwide. Ferguson was one of 16 state attorneys general, who released a statement on Sunday, calling Trump's immigration action un-American and unlawful.
