Brahmin associations to oppose non-Telugu IAS officer as TTD EO
The state government is planning to appoint a new EO for TTD as the two-year tenure of present TTD EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao is coming to an end. Several IAS officers from AP are in race for the prestigious EO post. However, the government wants to give an opportunity to IAS officer from North Indian origin. According to sources, AP Bhavan Resident Commissioner Anil Singhal might get a chance to become next EO. He is having full support of Special Chief Secretary Satish Chandra, who is working in CMO. Brahmin Associations have warned to launch protests if non-Telugu IAS officer posted as TTD EO.
