Crime Investigation Department (CID) of Andhra Pradesh (AP) has filed charge-sheet against 27, in adulterated liquor case of 2014, where liquor was brought from Goa and Karnataka and distributed in several AP districts, during elections. Two YSRCP MLAs of Nellore, Kakani Goverdhan Reddy and Pratap Reddy, have also been mentioned in the case. But both denied their role. While Pratap Reddy said that he was indicted because he refused to join Telugu Desam Party (TDP), Goverdhan Reddy said that it is a vindictive step by the government.
