Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari has participated in 77th annual session of Indian Road Congress being held in Hyderabad. Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao and MPs took part in the meet. Speaking on the occasion, Gadkari announced allocation of Rs 8,000 crore for 460 km state highways. He said that the Centre will sanction funds for roads based on DPR. The Centre to sanction Rs 1500 crore for Mancherial and Chandrapur highway, Rs 900 crore for Suryapet and Khammam highway and Rs 2,300 crore for Sangareddy and Nanded highway.
