Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu said that he will write a letter to the Central government urging to scrap service charges on net and mobile banking transactions. The Chief Minister participated in a meeting held with bankers in Vijayawada. He stated that people are not willing to do their transactions through online as banks are imposing high service charges. Chandrababu said that he will speak with the Centre to give instructions to banks not to collect services charges till December 31 so that economic activities will go on through online.
