It's reportedly said that rules imposed on 'Bars and the control on the sales of liquor' by the Excise Department are not implemented seriously. Even today liquor is been abundantly sold to youth below the age of 21 years, 24 hrs. After Ramya's Accident, Excise department warned to take stringent action against the bars and shops that sell liquor to below 21 aged youth by cancelling their license and also fining them. But all rules are confined only to words as there is no evidence of implementation. "Track and Trace System" which came into action by spending 100 crores is not seen implemented. Excise departments action is said to be limited to gudumba makers and license issues but not to the bars and late night liquor sales.
