Water level in Srisailam dam crosses 100 mark for first time - Tv5

Water level in Srisailam dam crossed the 100th mark for the first time in many years. Due to heavy rains in the upper reaches of Krishna and Godavari rivers, in Maharashtra and Karnataka, water has been released into Jurala project in Mahbubnagar and from there to Srisailam project that caters to both the states. The water level in the dam is 106 ft. Compared to the last four years, this is the first time that the water level has crossed 100 mark in August first week.
