Ramzan, the month of purity for Muslims, begins today, since the sighting of the crescent moon last night. They observe Roza or fasting during this month. The fasting lasts from sunrise to sunset. In between, they have Sahar and Iftar, meaning, breaking and starting the fast with a meal. Fasting and worshipping marks the month of Ramzan, the end of which is celebrated as Id, by Muslims all over the world.
