Youngster demands ransom using Al-Qaeda in Guntur, arrested - Tv9

Guntur Urban police arrested a youngster, who made extortion calls in the name of Al-Qaeda. Donepudi Naveen, who belongs to Krishna Babu Colony in Guntur, stole a mobile phone from a friend in Chilakaluripet. He made a call to Mastan Darga chairman Ravi Rammohan Rao in Guntur and demanded him to pay Rs 3 lakh ransom.He warned to kill his family members if he fails to pay money. ASP Bhaskar Rao said Naveen resorted to extortion as he lost borrowed money in cricket betting and also addicted to bad habits.
