A day after a sting operation showed him accepting advance money from a businessman, JDU Minister Awadhesh Kushwaha has resigned from Nitish Kumar's cabinet in Bihar. JDU chief Sharad Yadav said that the party asked for Kushwaha's resignation. Sharad Yadav said Kushwaha's resignation was forwarded to the Governor. The JDU claiming the moral high ground saying it has zero tolerance for corruption.
