Girl child's education stressed in advisory meet at New Delhi: Kadiyam - Tv9
Education Minister Kadiyam Srihari said that he stressed on the need to focus on girl child's education in the Central Advisory Board of Education meeting held in New Delhi in which HRD Minister Smriti Irani and Education Ministers of other States took part. He said that there is a wide gap between students studying in private and government schools. However, Srihari expressed his apprehension over the effective implementation of the Right to Education Act. According to the Act, private schools have to give admissions to 25 per cent poor students. Minister said that it may give scope for irregularities while claiming reimbursements.
