The Speaker has all the rights in suspending MLAs, the High Court said, in a verdict. It was responding to a petition by Congress and TDP members to disqualify those who had joined TRS, after being elected on their party tickets. In a relief to the TRS government, the HC said that the Speaker has all the rights to suspend the MLAs. The HC asked the petitioners to show where the courts can intervene in the Speaker's decision.
