The Lok Sabha discussed on the Juvenile Justice Amendment Bill in the Lok Sabha. Addressing the members, TRS MP Vinod Kumar said that it is not good to try juveniles in the aged group of 16 to 18 years as adults in the court if they commit a heinous crime. He said that such crimes can be controlled and contained. Further, he said that even if the juveniles are proved guilty of committing the crime and receive conviction, it is not good for the society. He appealed to the honourable minister to see that such a clause is withdrawn.
